Our theme for the spring exhibition at the Nashua Public Library is RIVERS.
We celebrate the Nashua River and its fascinating eight to ten thousand years of local history: settlement, fishing, hunting for Native Americans, for settlers, and for the city today.
We honor the Fresh Waters Program and the high value of this beautiful watershed area as the river runs to the sea.
In New Hampshire our cascading waterfalls and magnificent rocky riverbanks are valued habitat of diverse wildlife populations as well human uses of recreation, work and energy.
This exhibition will center on all aspects
of rivers and our deep appreciation for everything they represent displaying a wide range of artistic
interpretations.
